Hi there! I’m Megan 고은 Tulius, a Marriage and Family Therapy intern from the University of St. Thomas, supervised by Asha Williams, LPCC.
My goal in therapy is to help build a space grounded in mutual respect, trust, and openness. Working from an anti-oppressive lens, I welcome individuals, partners, couples, and families from all backgrounds, including those from marginalized and systemically oppressed communities. While I like to draw from psychodynamic, internal family systems, and narrative frameworks, I focus on tailoring our work around your existing strengths, resilience, and personal values. Relational exploration can be complex, and I aim to navigate that process alongside you with humility, care, and lightness. I also welcome sharing moments of humor and joy.
As a transracial adoptee and advocate within the adoptee community, I am deeply attentive to how family separation, disenfranchised grief, and identity fragmentation can affect one’s sense of self and connection to others. Because every story is unique, I prioritize challenging one-size-fits-all narratives to make room for experiences and voices that are frequently overlooked.
Outside of practice, I spend lots of time running, listening to music, experimenting with film photography, and enjoying delicious food with family and friends.
