Jessica believes in taking a collaborative approach, utilizing the strengths and insights of each person to help them make positive changes in their lives and move towards their futures with hope. She values authenticity and connection, and is honored to be able to be with clients during both moments of laughter and tears. Jessica strives to create a safe and warm environment where people can feel heard and understood. She works to find a balance between supporting and accepting people as they are, and challenging them to step out of their comfort zone to make the changes they desire for a better life.
Jessica works with individuals, couples, and families from a wide range of backgrounds. She is committed to being anti-racist and affirming of the LGBTQIA+ community, and prioritizes continuing to learn about dismantling white supremacy in the therapy room as well as a human being.
Jessica is certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which is a form of therapy used to help people heal and process trauma, phobias, and other chronic conditions. She also offers the Prepare and Enrich Assessment to couples wanting premarital counseling. Jessica has experience working with issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, family and relationship conflict, life transitions, self-esteem and self-compassion, anger, and spirituality. She enjoys helping people learn to heal from unhealthy family dynamics and create new patterns and choices moving forward towards the future they desire.
