Jenny is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over ten years of experience working with couples, families, adults and adolescents. Jenny approaches therapy with curiosity and compassion. She believes we are all doing the best we can with what we know, yet there are times on our journey that we seek change, healing or growth. Jenny offers a safe space to explore habits or patterns that are no longer serving you or your relationships. She offers straightforward, honest and compassionate therapy and works with you towards healing and contentment.
Jenny is a strengths-based, systemic thinker. She has experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, life transitions, and parenting. Jenny is affirming to the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities and is engaging in anti-racism work both professionally and personally.
In her work, Jenny pulls from a variety of approaches including Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Internal Family Systems. She is also an EMDRIA approved EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) clinician and specializes in working with trauma and PTSD. As a trained yoga instructor, Jenny often incorporates mindfulness and body work in her therapy.
On a personal note, Jenny is married with two boys. In her free time, you can find Jenny running, on her yoga mat, in her garden or exploring the outdoors with her family.
