Hello, and welcome! My name is Kelsey Lundquist (she/her), and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (since 2016). I am also a Minnesota Board of Marriage and Family Therapy Approved Clinical Supervisor, and I provide supervision to clinical trainees in their Masters’ programs and Master’s level practitioners working toward licensure. Some of my experience includes providing in-home family therapy, outpatient therapy, and group therapy services with individuals, couples, and families.
I value and provide culturally responsive therapy services and work with clients to process how we interface with, are impacted by, and/or engage with various systems of oppression based on our social/cultural positioning. I work with clients to consider the impact of multiple systems – from the intra-personal relationship one has with oneself to the family one came from to greater societal systems – on our lives and mental health.
I believe our relationships, connections, and past experiences greatly shape our lives. I meet clients from a strength-based, relational-focused approach that is systemic in nature. I strive to create a warm, collaborative space for clients to walk their healing journey. It is one of the great honors of my life to walk alongside clients through therapy. I am passionate about highlighting and utilizing client’s and families’ strengths, and honoring each family’s cultural values in the healing process.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy cooking and sharing food, attending musical or stand-up comedy performances, and spending time with my family and friends!
