Masters Level Intern

Grand Ave Location

I believe in the collaborative work of healing, the beauty of growth, and learning to radically love yourself. Becoming more whole is a lifelong process that is sacred. As a Master’s-level MFT intern at Saint Mary’s University, I am honored to hold a welcoming space where stories can be shared, identities explored, and wounds tended to with care. My approach weaves together a systemic lens, Internal Family Systems, and narrative therapy (just to name a few)—while honoring the deep interplay between our inner lives and the spiritual threads that may be intertwined.

The path that brought me to therapy began in my years as a pastor, walking alongside people through love, loss, and life’s turning points. I have had the privilege of working with couples preparing for marriage, teens navigating identity, families in transition, and people of all ages seeking connection and meaning. Today, I especially love working with couples, families, and individuals—including those in the LGBTQIA2S+ community, people living with chronic illness, those who have experienced trauma from organized religious institutions, and BIPOC clients navigating the path to wholeness in the face of systemic injustice.

I work from a trauma-informed foundation, with training in Brainspotting Phase 2, Gottman Level 1 couples therapy, discernment counseling for couples on the brink, ambiguous and disenfranchised grief, and couple and family therapy with LGBTQIA2S+ families.

Outside the therapy room, I find joy with my partner of 20 years (married 19 years) and our two children. My hobby is hosting a podcast exploring the intersections of Dungeons & Dragons, spiritual direction, and the work of healing.

If you’re ready to explore your story, I invite you to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation. Together, we can create a space for healing, discovery, and the unfolding of your truest self.
