Hi, I’m Assoh — you can also call me Glow. I am a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University. Before that, I spent over 7 years in human services and the past 6 years in the mental health field, giving me a holistic understanding of everything from mental health challenges to medication management.

I’m bilingual in French and English. As a first-generation immigrant myself, I understand the hardship and duality that often comes with navigating multiple cultures and identities. I also have a particular passion for supporting those moving through grief and loss — helping clients hold space for what’s been taken from them while finding their way back to connection and meaning. In a world that isn’t always kind, my hope is to create a space where you feel free to be your unapologetic, authentic self. I don’t believe healing or growth happens without safety and honesty, so I look forward to learning your story.

I work with couples, families, and individuals. I strive to provide therapeutic support to people from all walks of life and systems. My role as your therapist is to show up present, empathetic, and celebratory. When fitting, I am glad to guide clients through mindfulness practices as a way of grounding into the present and discovering the self beyond survival mode. Our sessions are your time — to explore what matters most to you, with all your emotions and thoughts welcomed and valued. You can expect me to greet you with a smile, and to be open, curious, and direct. It’s a privilege to collaborate with you in your journey!

Outside of work, I love baking desserts from around the world as it’s always been a creative outlet and a way to spread love to others. Lately I’ve also found joy in strength training, gardening, reading, interior design, and crafting. Still, my favorite things of all time are spending quality time with my loved ones and exploring different cultures through travel and cuisine. Wherever there is water, heat, and greenery, I find tranquility and joy.
