Aspen Resler is a Master’s Level intern who aims to walk alongside clients in embracing their authentic selves. They enjoy working with adolescents, children, families, individuals, and couples. They believe that people grow when they are safe, seen, and heard. Aspen is passionate about working with the intersection of relationships, neurodiversity, gender/sexuality, and mental health. Aspen has several years of experience working with adults and children with identified neurodiversities (such as autism, adhd, aphasia, catatonia, and dyslexia) Client Populations of particular interest in their work include: LGBT+ adolescents and adults, neurodiverse/disabled individuals, and those seeking trauma-informed care.

Aspen works through a relational and systemic lens where they advocate for and support clients of all backgrounds. Their approach is often based on Internal Family Systems and experiential principles. They enjoy the use of art in therapy as well as the use of visual learning to promote accessibility for all clients.

In their free time Aspen is a ceramic artist and a dabbler in all things creative. They hang out often with their two cats and enjoy good coffee and sweets.
