Welcome! I’m Brooke, a master’s-level Marriage and Family Therapy intern and I’m passionate about creating a warm, supportive space where you feel safe to explore, grow, and heal.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent ten years teaching dance and outdoor recreation to people of all ages. These backgrounds in movement and nature-based play have shaped my belief in the mind-body connection and informs my use of somatic-based practices. I strive to incorporate creativity in our sessions and foster an environment filled with compassion, safety, and sincerity.
I approach therapy through a systemic, narrative lens and I am deeply interested in the stories that shape your life. My goal is to come alongside you with curiosity — helping you identify your strengths, uncover new perspectives, and explore areas for growth and change. I also incorporate CBT, DBT, and ACT to help shift unhelpful thought patterns and provide practical tools for daily life.
I’m especially passionate about supporting people (adults and youth) from all cultures, identities and backgrounds who are navigating body image distress, eating disorders, anxiety, self-worth, life transitions, faith/spirituality, relationship challenges, and more. In my work with kids and teens (and their families), I seek to provide a safe, affirming space where they can feel heard, gain confidence, and develop healthy ways of relating to themselves, family, friends, and communities.
I also enjoy supporting couples and families in building stronger communication, deepening connection, and navigating life’s challenges together. I aim to create a space where all parties feel understood – guiding them toward healthier patterns of interaction, repair after conflict, and renewed trust and intimacy.
As a MN transplant from the mountains, you’ll find me doing anything adventurous and outside during my free time (and probably have a strong cup of coffee in my hand while doing it).
